Billing & Statements

Artefacts platform manages extensive daily, monthly and periodic billing events to generate month-end bills/invoices to merchants. Complex calculations are performed before invoices and statements are generated for each merchant. The rules-based billing system are used by PSPs, PFs and some ISOs who need custom billing capabilities. The platform is robust enough to perform interchange calculations, non-monetary items and miscellaneous fees that are of fixed, variable and fixed + variable value or percentages.

Artefacts publishes APIs to third parties to leverage the Artefacts billing and invoicing platform for generating dynamic bills and invoices to merchants.

ACH & Deposits

Merchants and agents have to be paid on time by payment service providers. Artefacts platform allows payments service providers to generate ACH files to distribute funds to the ABA/Account numbers of the merchants and agents. ACH files are created for funds collection or funds disbursements. Adjustments on funding amounts are allowed by Artefacts platform before funds are disbursed. Artefacts maintains history of ACH and deposits made by either payment processor or Artefacts for compliance reasons.

Artefacts has connections to financial accounting systems like Great Plains, CentralBOS and others to ensure deposit data is transmitted accurately.

Agent Payouts

Agent and ISO payouts are complex and exhaustive in the payment card industry. Artefacts platform generates payouts based on n-tier hierarchy and multi-level splits for each agent and reps who belong in the payout hierarchy. Multi-level item splits are possible in the platform for downlines. The industry norm is split the fees at various levels based on different business rules of fee types / charge types. Artefacts platform maintains historical data for compliance and audit reasons.
